Atlanta
Location: On the ocean floor in the exact center of the Atlantic Ocean, Earth
Description
Atlanta was once a landlocked city and the capital of the US state Georgia before it was moved offshore in an attempt to gain a better position for business. It became an island city in the center of the Atlantic Ocean and an even greater Delta hub. However, in time the city overdeveloped and its weight proved to be too much to stay afloat, and many of the celibrity citizens chose to leave, like Ted Turner, the guy who invented Coca Cola, the Magician and even Jane Fonda. A lot of the population chose to stay behind as the city sank underwater and, in time, evolved into Merfolk with the aid of the caffeine from the Coca-Cola bottling plant. Despite the long time under water, the whole place still radiates a kind of Dixie feeling.
